ok so i have many of the symptons of fibro and to see one way or the other i went to a rumotologist (sp) any way this is what she said 1) most of my problem is because is because i am over weight and i may have fibro and if i do it is all in the brain chemicals and all related to depression. Totally floored me so i guess it is a good thing i am not overly sensitive. Also she was larger than i am. The best one was the points on my upper back and shoulders is because my boobs are too big and are pulling on the that area.So that is how dr gets to say you are a nut case plus you are fat anfd your boobs are too big.hahahahahahahahhah

'you can have Fibro and not be overweight! Although I understand that if you lose weight you might feel better, but it never completely goes away. I've had multiple chemical sensitivities and food intolerance for a long time. Now a new doctor told me that I have Fibromyalgia too and that they all seem to be linked.
On a search for information of what I can do. |

Welcome to you both.
Its not a situation were you are big to have fibro. It might make a difference in somes situations. But I don't think it matters that much. I hope you get the help you need. The pain is more a thing that you have to find what works for you. In many cases you have to work to keep on your feet and keep the circulation going in your body. I have fibro and its worse when I don't move and keep the circulation going in my body. I try to get a body massage every two weeks. To help release the toxins in my body. And the built up tensions. This also helps get rid of the tightness too. Donna ![]() ![]() |

Hi Donna:
Massage is great - do you follow it with mineral salt bath? My doctor told me that sauna after exercise is a really good way to release the toxins. I joined a gym that has a far infrared sauna. Traditional sauna's make me feel so week after a few minutes, but I can tolerate this one for even 20 minutes. I usually feel less tired when I exercise and have a sauna and I noticed that my pain was much better for a day or two after I had the saunas. |

I know one person whose symptoms got worse from formaldehyde outgassing from the press board. they figured it out by lab testing. they traced it back to a far infrared sauna they bought for their home. |
