I developed a chest infection and had it for around 4 weeks. Ever since I keep getting really tired after doing anything for a long period of time. This is new. I have had pcs for 14 months, but this new thing seems linked to the chest infection. Any ideas?

Hi,
How long ago was the chest infection? Were you treated for it? If it was quite recently, then maybe you haven't fully recovered from it. Maybe go back to the doctor and get it checked out again just to make sure. Fatigue can hang around quite a long time after having a viral or bacterial infection. Of course it varies from person to person. Let us know how you are doing. |

i hope you are feeling better doozer and that your chest infection is gone and your fatigue has subsided a little. i find that having two chronic illnesses (rsd/crps and fibromyalgia) alond with (depression and anxiety) make me very tired most of the time, but i try to at least get out of bed for a little while. its not easy but i try my best. when i get an infection on top of all that it just wipes me out completely and i stay in bed for days until the infection is gone. take care and get well soon. love and hugs.
