I am 43 years old Female.
2 years ago I woke up at 4am with severe pain in my left side arm/shoulder. Weakness/numbness. I had my husband get me some Aleve and I got relief after about 30 minutes. It was a Sunday and felt off the rest of the day but better the next day. A few weeks later I was woke up with the severe pain again and I was unable to stand on my left leg because of weakness. I did got to the doctor and she recommended a MRI. And then another MRI a few days later with contrast. I seen a neurologist a week later and he said the MRI with contrast ONLY showed a spot on the back right lower side of my brain. He basically told me I much of injured myself in the past. By them I was pretty much back to normal. My neurologic exam was normal. I haven't had the severe pain again, but I do have left sided issues that come and go. Feeling of weakness, tingling and asleep...all on the left side. Today I work up with the whole left side of my body feeling off.....left side of my face, shoulder, arm and leg. It is hard to explain but I keep feeling like it is part asleep. I can walk OK. Over the last couple week while I was just sitting watching TV int the evening. I would have zinging go down my left leg. Then it is gone. I other issue that may or may not be related is I have had 3 times over the last few months where it felt like something just moved through my body. I was driving once.....it only lasted about 10 seconds but it was a weird feeling. Any suggestions or opinions are appreciated. Thank you. Melissa |
