Default Lymes Disease and mental health

My partner has been suffering from an undiagnosed neurological disorder for many years now. As time has gone on the symptoms have been progressively worstening and the flare ups becoming more frequent. To cut a very long story short there are three possible diagnosis that have been banded around for years, Lymes, MS and systemic Lupus. My partner has been suffering with so many physical symptoms, but more recently has experienced mental health problems and two days ago had a full mental health break down. The features are severe paranoia and anxiety and some psychotic episodes. This coincided with being prescribed antibiotics for a chest infection. I was wondereing whether anyone knows if there is any relationship between Lymes, antibiotics and the onset of mental health issues. I would value any thoughts or experiences anyone may have as I am concerned that this may cloud the neurological issues and detract from at last getting a diagnosis.
