Depends on if she has any job limitations/restrictions written by drs, and if the company can or will make a job for her that complies with any limitations..

Much depends on the size of the business too, small companies usually have less options for modified work.
I worked in different departments when on modified duty, my employer had 500 employees so there was room for me to help out in other places.
I filled in as receptionist, security patrol, office clerk, filing, shipping and misc helper.
