Hello had a few questions about my conditions n cant seem to get them answered. I had a MRI of Lumber today n they gave me CD nothing else and im in very bad pain wanted to know if it is possible for me to have another docter review it because the weather my dr. office is closed. if know anyway of such thing please inform me.

Hello,
Toaday i had a MRI done on my Lumber back. They gave me a CD nothimg else and do to this weather in ny my docter's office was closed a was wondering if i could have someone read the CD to give me the findings because my insurance cancelled on the first of march..? If anyone has a suggestion please inform me. Thank You, Haze |

I think hey usually send a copy to a tech to "read" it and they write up a report with results, your Dr might want to review it himself also. this part takes some time.
You might call DSrs office and leave a message about the ins concern. If nothing is "found" you may not need a follow up appt. Just curious , what was the reason for the MRI? what symptoms are you having? Maybe we can help from that direction.

Hello and welcome to NT!
Most of us have experience with having to wait for test results meant to possibly identify major health issues. We know just how agonizing that wait can be. I second the idea that you call your doctor's office. They probably won't have the results yet, but they might be able to give you some pain relief in the interim. While I know exactly how hard this is to do, try not to imagine the worst. Hang in There ![]() |
