Default want to get off cymbalta

I really want to get off Cymbalta, although it really has helped my mood it hasn't helped with my tingling and burning pain. I heard terrible stories of withdrawl symptoms and really afraid to try it. Has anyone had issues getting off this drug? And what medication has helped anyone with tingling and burning pain?
