Question Fentanyl Question

I know many of us folks who've suffered from wicked brain injuries & other awful things are given Fentanyl, along with a myriad of other meds to kill the pain.

I am on 100mcg of Fentanyl. I just don't think it's doing the job because the pain is still ruthless. I also notice that there is no patch that's bigger than 100mcg. My question is ... What do I do if my doctor wants to up it to (say for instance) 125mcg.

Does this require me having 2 patches? If that's the deal, I know some people who are suffering from terminal cancer can be on 1,000mcg of Fentanyl. Are these folks wearing 10 patches???

A little help & clarification would be great.

Thank you.

Joe
