All I can say is that that MRI sounds lot like my MRI. My report talks about "multiple punctate lesions in the periventricular white matter". My understanding from my neuro is that MS lesions can show up anywhere, but lesions around the "horns" of the ventricles (aka periventricular white matter) are somewhat characteristic of MS. With that said, there are alot of things that can show up as spots on an MRI, so it is up to the neuro to differentiate between MS and something else using other tools.

I agree with Dejibo...go to an MS specialist and get another opinion.
