Wisest Elder Ever

I use tryptophan for anxiety. I had a lot of it this summer on vacation. I take 500mg at night. It is a bit sedating at first, but it really works for me. I use NOW brand.
One should not take tryptophan with SSRIs however. Tryptophan increases serotonin synthesis, if one's is low. It works in conjunction with B6 and magnesium. Celexa is a mild one. I think it is the mildest of the bunch. Another thought is Buspar. Many people find it useful too. Buspar is not a benzo and therefore not habituating.
