There might be something to the news person's mistake. If we think of CCSVI, it is supposed to be congenital, or a birth defect.

Could that defect be passed down through genetics (DNA) and show up in some offspring? A person may have a tendency to get a blockage, or inverted valves through genetics, plus add in some inflammation with a few years, of/or age, or disease, and the blockage worsens? MS begins?

My Vascular Surgeon (not really up on CCSVI ) too bad.. but he said veins can become blocked by inflammation. Is that why steroids and IVSM help us and some Chemo drugs like "N" or "C" because they take down some inflammation?

Just thinking out loud again.. any thoughts on this? Or am I finally cracking up?

Thanks for the article Erin.
