for years i've used 4ap 30 mg per day and now started to take ampyra. it seems 4ap worked much better. Now i'm confused and don't know if i need to return back to 4ap or continue with ampyra. share your experience, please.

Not me, but my husband had switched from 4AP to Ampyra....but he was only taking 20mg. He describes the difference as reaching a higher level of functioning with 4AP but for a short period of time while Ampyra brings him to a lower "high" but he's able to maintain it for 12 hours.
You are taking a higher dose of 4AP than he was (and he's a big guy) so perhaps your benefit from 4AP was higher and longer-lasting than my husband's was..... Will be interested to see if others respond.... |
