Has anyone heard how Butter is doing? Just hope she is okay.

Today my paperwork was sent to Mayo Clinic. It was sent to the Migraine/Vestibular area- not the neurology area. Not sure how things will turn out. I typed up a complete report (an entire page long of symptoms)- when they started, how long they last, etc. Along with other strange things that have happened.

The longer this goes on, the sicker I'm getting. It is starting to really scare me- and now it is making DH scared. He never used to ask how I'm doing and now he does all the time. It is interesting. Never has he thought it was more than just a medication that has caused it all- but he seems to be more on the same page as me than I have given him credit. In some sense, I think he would say that to get me off thinking about what I might have- and thought all along- MS. I have so many symptoms of it that it is bizzare. If I don't, not sure what on earth is wrong. Not dxing self- just don't know and wish I did.

I have so many of the same symptoms as many others here. From the first time I had an 'attack' and did a search on it- I knew then that was it; gut feeling. Everyone thinks I'm really losing my mind; I am- due to something wrong with my brain- it feels like it is tingly and getting squeezed- all the water out of it. Literally.

Sorry for the ranting... Just don't feel well. Bedspins and Migraine on top of other issues tonight.

Hang in there coffee. All this food talk is making me hungry.

I know.......why do I all of a sudden want buttered toast with my coffee?!

Coffeegirl, it does make you feel like you're losing your mind sometimes....especially when there is so much obviously wrong and the doctors can't seem to pinpoint what it is. I think if they could spend one day in our shoes they'd have a much different attitude towards us.

One thing I learned throughout this whole experience is that you have to be your own advocate. If there is a test you want performed keep on about it till it gets scheduled. Let your doctor know that he is your partner in this search for a diagnosis. Make him aware that you want to be involved in the decision making and the treatment plan. If your DH is up for accompanying you to the appointments that's great because there will be two of you to decide what's the best course of action. The more he is involved the less "scary" it will be for him. Nothing's worse than not knowing and coming to your own conclusions. Plus, you'll have someone there with you to hear what the doctor says. I tend to forget what was said one I walk out the door so I tend to take alot of notes while I'm there.

I hope you feel better soon. You've waited long enough.....you need a dx soon.
