I take 25 mg at night and I have for several years since my first steroid treatment. It helps me to get to sleep and sleep more soundly. It also seems to keep me from waking from nighttime aches and pains. I took 50 mg for a long time but now I'm down to 25mg. The most I ever took was 100 mg when still on a steroid taper. It works great, is cheap, old and safe and my MS neuro said it seems to work for MS patients.

UGH! I have taken my first and last trazadone. Since I started taking zanaflex, I am dealing with a dry mouth. The trazadone made it much worse. I also ended up very congested and felt like I was drunk. I ended up drinking sips of water all night and having to go to the bathroom. I could not use my cpap because I was so congested. This morning, I have a headache and feel like I have a hangover. I did sleep off and on and had what seemed like several dreams after 4:00 am. I going back to ambien. It helps a little and at least I do not feel like **** when I take it.

I don't know why I have such weird reactions to so many meds. I tried taking several different antidepressants three years ago and I just could not tolerate them.
