Sorry you're feeling so miserable, CG. As Sally said, you'll learn how to "budget" your time more efficiently with MS as time goes by. Being the proverbial Type A myself, I've tried remembering something my former mother-in-law said to me when my kids were little (before MS). "They (kids) won't remember if your house is spotless, dishes all done and put away, etc., etc., etc., but they WILL remember the times you spent with them." It really helped me put things in perspective and now that they're all grown up with kids of their own, sure enough, my MIL was right!!

Feel better soon.

Default The Spoon Theory

This is a good explanation of The Spoon Theory. After you read it....let your husband and boys read it. Or, better yet, read it to them. And make them listen!

** The person who wrote this has Lupus but the theory applies to MS as well. **

Uh Coffeegirl, What did we learn from this? Judy is right. Kids who remember a clean house often remember a mom who cleaned but didn't use her energy on them.
My kids are away at college and my house stays straightened and nice longer BUT kinda lonely and quiet.
