I have double VERTICAL vision - does everyone else? Or is yours horizontal?

I was driving home from work one day when someone DID turn out all the lights (while driving!!) I slammed on the brakes and just stared out of my window wondering how in the hell the whole world just suddenly went totally completely black.

No headache-no warning-no nothing-as fast as a blink of the eye. It took me the longest time to suddenly realize thatit was MY VISION that had gone blind!!

AAUUGH-so, I sat there - middle of the road-wodering what the **H** to do...then my vision slowly started to turn gray and I could see outlines of shapes.

So I inched my way home - made it safely - thank god for small towns - and went to bed to sleep off the horror of it all. !!! LOL

My Primary doc could not believe I had not driven straight to the hospital ER.

All I could answer for that stupidity was "Well, it went away...and I could see again...so, I figured I didn't want to get lableled "Crazy!" It was tooo weird to go to ER - I thought.
