There was an 18 year old college girl murdered in our community recently.
She was walking in the park near the campus. They have the suspect in jail, it was a horrific crime so I'll spare the details.

I walk on the nature trails near work when I have my lunch break. I take a bottle of pepper spray and I wear my headset but I can hear others approaching on the wide path I use. If anyone starts to approach me I start having an imaginary conversation and mention things like the shooting range, bringing my gun, I'll bring the crossbow, etc...

If somebody attacks me I know at least that I will go out taking a criminal with me. I will make them regret ever coming near me. And I won't need a weapon to do it either.

There is nothing that makes me angrier than the scum that do things like this to helpless folks.

Btw, I'm glad you're ok.
