I bought a bottle of alcohol and will use some of my cosmetic squares to disinfect the bottle of Interferon before I inject. I take Interferon for Polycythemia Vera but I don't know how long I can tolerate it. AynaDee, I am so sympathetic with your problems of paying for your drugs...they have you over a barrel. I had to take the less good form of Interferon and prove I could not adjust to it before I could get the more expensive time release form...I'll probably get that now, but I don't have much faith in drugs. They seem to be hit and miss in their effectiveness, going by the experiences of our fellow patients here on the forum, and patients on other forums. There does not seem to be much scientific precision about what they do. We were promised that by now computers would easily figure out who should take what. Ha!
