I wish they could put this study on the fast track. Waiting years just seems like such a long time.
Thanks for the article, though. It's very encouraging! ![]()

THIS JUST IN!!!
"The "OFF" switch was recently located in the back left brain of an MS mouse in a lab in XXXXX. Unfortunately, it only worked on the mouse once. They shut it off, it shorted out and caused a near-lethal adverse effect. Scientists at XXXXX Pharmaceutical are sure they can find a medication that only costs 2 trillion dollars a year that will ensure the mouse looks alive as long as it's injected 4 times a day"... ![]() (sorry for the hijack! ![]()

Riverwild, that joke brightened an otherwise sad evening for me. Thanks!
I really hate what scientists are doing. For every helpful thing, 90% of the rest is unfortunate, like the near-lethal off-switch of the mouse. The only real help i have had from doctors is when they have suggested "natural" remedies like magnesium and the Swank diet. And B3 for vascular problems. Etc. I wish we did not have to take drugs. But until science does something better for us, sometimes we have to take them. |

I just upped my magnesium (constipation problems) at the advice of my neuro, it's helped already! Taking 450mg daily now, plus my D3 and Calcium.
![]() I am a believer in finding the right supplements to balance the body without the harsh pharmas. Diet (Swank, etc) is also crucial, as are natural ways to reduce and prevent inflammation. Beat inflammation, that's a good part of the battle!
