Thank-you! I am so happy to read and begin to understand what others are experiencing is some of what I have. I do not know anyone personally with MS so this all is very helpful!
I am currently working on medications for my fatigue and I am just so darn tired. Monday I may begin Provigil, fingers crossed that it helps?
Thank-you again Sally, you are very kind!

Welcome Kristin.

We are all in this together. Talking helps.

Re: Provigil, under some insurance plans it must be ordered for "fatigue" and not MS for it to go thru. So, if it gets rejected, try the other way.

And, many find it very expensive and save it for when the really need it.

Best to you- See you around the board.

My first forum of any kind. I'm just starting this journey, still being tested for the cause of my PN.
I'm so happy you all are sharing! I don't feel as hopeless/helpless

Hi all ! I'm new here and so are my symptoms
I've been freaking out for the past three months fearing i have ms
A little info about me! I am a twenty yearold male. Ive been having symptoms that sound like ms.im scared to death!!it haunts me all day everyday! It affects my life at home and at work and its so sad to think i could have this terrible disease at only twenty years old.its so scary!heres my back ground with injuries tgat could have possibly triggered my symptoms.about four years ago i was hit by a pickup truck on my bicycle.i suffered from bad bone bruises on my femurs on both legs .i was knocked unconscious and woke up in a hospital. The did an mri..or ct scan..i forget which but the said they were worried i have an "air bubble" on the lining of my brain.now that i think about it im scared they mistaken it for a lesion, which ive been reading about.but anyway, after this all happened i would get dizzy spells and obviously my knees were messed up still..but they were nothing like the symptoms I'm experiemcing now. A luttle over one year ago i was in a car accident and smashed my jeep into a tree .i busted my lip open and my neck hurt a little afterwards..but still the symptoms im having now are scaring me more than those two incidents combined.heres all my strange sgmptoms ove been having..it started with an area of my righg legs on the lower portion of my **** that was completely numb.that scared me but i just said it could be poor circulation. Two weeks after it went away and a new symptoms occured,it fel like my hips were tight and reakky sore and i constantly stretched them and it did nothing.that eventually subsided but they're stool kind of tight.more recently, the backs of my knees feel tight for no reason,i have tingling sensations my limbs.some burning in the backs of my knees sometimes.Vertu faint pins and needles feeling in my left arm.tightness in both of my arms, back, hips.i have what seems to be a buzzing feeling on my mid back to the left of my spine.sometimes its buzzing or vibrating,or sometimes its just pain,or its feels like my back is bleeding but it always occurs in one spot.i get deep buzzing feeling mostly in my legs.i get goosebumps for no reason almost anywhere .my feet feel like theyre shaking sometimes too.im literally scared ********.this is the best i can describe these symptoms .i aant to know if anybody has these same symptoms or had them before a diagnosis of ms or some other neurological disorder.i know its not stress or anxiety realted cuz it happens whenever it wants.sometimes i get throbbing or shooting pains down my arms.and sometimes when i want to fall asleep i feel wgat seems to be an intense rush of energy down my thighs and hips like they just want to fly out from beneath me.well...thats all my symptoms and sorry for the long post but this is my first one!! So people, please reply and help a kid out because i dont want to think ill be in a wheelchair at the age of 30 . Ms doesnt run in my family and im in healthy shaoe and exercise and run and rides bikes daily. These symptoms dont make me tired or exhausted and i sleep fairly normal and eat right .i do hvac as a profession and its hard work and i dont see a change in my work after all this started.im just terrified!!! Thanks for reading let me know what u think!

Welcome to NeuroTalk Noro. I'm glad you found us.

I think that you may have MS. Your symptoms point in that
direction. but other diseases can mimic MS. First, take a
breath and try to stay calm. Stress only worsens your SX and
MS is not a death sentence.

I am 70 something and had my 1st MS sx in my early 20s and
Here I am, still going strong. There have been bumps along
the road and also long periods with no SX (symptoms), at all.

Get yourself to a Neurologist, preferably an MS specialist.
Let us know how that goes and please stay as calm as
you can. We are here for each other.

You think out could be a nerve problem in my back? My back has been bothering me.i know you said to notbworry and all but my heart is pounding right now i could imaging why this would happen to me!
