I don't have headaches but I do have visual migraines occasionally,
and 250 mg of non-flush niacin keeps them away. Opens up the vessels. Now
I don't know if classical migraines have open or closed vessels, so this would not
be good if your vessels are already open a lot.

For just dimness of vision it is possible Luetine Eyes would help. It's for macular degeneration. I do not have macular, but my parents did have, at relatively young ages, so mine is preventive. And of course I presume you are getting a little Vitamin A in a
multivitamin? Mine is low dose all food source Megafoods Without Iron.

I just ordered some Nattokinase which I'll experiment with to reduce blood viscosity, which is a danger with high platelets--I don't know if this would be good for you, but it's a possibility. People take it instead of Warfarin. I have not tried it yet. And I take Vitamin E complex which is a mild blood thinner. (NOW brand Gamma E complex).
Just guessing at the cause of your misery of eyes.

I had ON or whatever it was for 8 years, with blind spot, double vision, pain in light,
inability to watch TV, and could not have run a computer. So I know what semi-blind is.
No fun.

Dejibo, I forgot to say that pollution in the house could be doing this. You were OK on
vacation. In the house you know the main possible culprits? New rug or rug pad, new furniture with stain resistant spray, new cabinets which have formaldehyde not yet outgassed (we had to coat ours with Environmentally Safe stuff) room freshener, gas leaking, mold, and of course that pollen that is irritating you. Constant battle and sometimes it's hard to figure what. Ours was primarily formaldehyde in new rug--had the whole house tested.

My MD called in a script for prednisolone eye drops. he said if the optic nerve is irritated, this should help calm it down, without having to go the internal route.

I have bottle after bottle of pain relievers in this house. From advil to dilaudid so I am all set on that, and tend to not want to use any of them, because they make you so sleepy and sooooo constipated! I take 2 mag tablets at night, and that helps me sleep. I am drinking enough water, and staying hydrated. Hmmm...perhaps I can add to that.

I rest when they come on, and try to not stress my self visually as it will make a visual migraine go nuts. Most visual migraines last about 10 minutes. Mine can last 2 hours! then go away, get a normal migraine, and followed up by yet another 2 hour stint with visual migraine.

I am just wearing thin. you can do most any ordeal for a day or two, but when you start running on a week of it, you start getting out of reserves. I have company coming on Saturday so I need to be ready! DH will do whatever I ask, so thats good.

ENOUGH! I get the point! I have MS. let me get some pleasure things in.

I pray you will find a solution soon. I hate when one of my friends is in pain.

Feel better soon Dej. I have horrible headaches also but mine are mostly Sinus and the hot and humid weather here doesn't help.
