Default what would you do?

altho i think i already know the answer.

i have an oncologist here (to follow breast Ca). i've been here in FL a bit over 1 yr. i moved from Denver. so, july was to be my 3rd appt. i was referred by my pcp. i received a letter (not even a phone call) stating my dr couldn't be in on the day of my appt. they moved it to Aug. and, this is the 2nd time it's happened.

so, my 6 month appts are turning into 7 month appts. i don't like it.
i called the office and the scheduler said if i had active Ca i would have been seen with another dr in the practice.

i'm trying to get thru to my pcp's office to ask for another referral.
i have my annual mammo next wk, plus an US. IF by any chance it's Ca again or suspicious i will immediately find another dr.

if it's ok i'll ask around. the worst thing about this move is that i don't know and don't have a feel for the drs and hosp's. when i was in denver i was working. i had the inside scoop. i knew the ropes. here i feel helpless. like i've lost control. i hate that.

so, i'm going to take my control back.

thanks for listening.
