In Remembrance
|
I've had diahrea, headache and slight tummy ache since last night too, so could be a virus.
I looked up sides for D3 & Methyl B12 and found that both meds could cause the above. . I stopped the B12, because it may have expired,,it was a couple of years past date... I'll order some fresh and see how that goes. Thanks so much for the hugs, prayers and good advise.

Hi Sally, I hope you are feeling better soon (physical and emotional). If you are getting a virus that could easily make the stairs impossible. Also, I don't know where you live but it is summer right now and the heat is worse. It could be so many OTHER little things. Chin up!!

hugs to you Sally. I hope you feel better. I think mine too is a buggie or a virus. I have a low grade fever, and feel sluggish and out of it.

for you Sally. I hope it's just a short-lived virus and you feel much better soon.

Sally Saying a prayer for you! I know that weak feeling when trying to maneuver stairs is so scary. I not only get weak legs, but a tad bit of vertigo when I go up or down steep staircases.
One thing I have noticed that affects me ...is temperature changes. If I go from hot to cold or cold to hot... my weakness due to MS becomes more apparent. Since you were going down into your basement there had to be some temperature variance from the main floor. Even a 2 to 3 degree difference bothers me. I noticed you said you might have a virus.. that will do it too. Even slight fever throws me off. I've never had issues with the B12 or Vit D. Now if I take a B12 after lunch time, I can't go to sleep before 2am.

Sally - I'm sorry to hear you are having a rough time. I hope things have improved some since Sunday.
A virus could definitely do that and I know that here there is a stomach bug going around, 24 hour type thing. Also, when taking any medication or supplement, check the date 1st before taking it. Medications/supplements change chemistry over time, hence the reason for expiration dates. All sorts of things can happen when you take a med/supp that has expired. I'm not saying that is what happened to you, but just reminding you and others that it can be harmful to take something after it's expiration date. If it is a prescription medication, you can call and talk to the pharmacist where you got the medication. They can look up the "real" expiration date, not the one on the bottle. I've had to do that before on with the valium the dr. gave me. At 1 1/2 years, the medication is no longer good. As others mentioned, weather changes could be the cause as well. But, should you continue to have this weakness, please talk to your dr about it. Check in with us and let us know how you are doing. |
