Default crying in the grocery store.

many of you know its been a very stressful few days for me, not to mention I am on a juice fast, and so on. We needed groceries esp now that the son is here, man can he eat! He is rail thin, and acting like he was starved to death. I asked what sorts of meals he would eat, and what he explained wouldnt keep a toddler alive. No wonder he stands at 6' tall and 117 pounds! OMG! So, off to the store I went.

Made it 1/2 the way thru, my stomach started hurting. didnt know if I needed to pass gas, or poop, or puke. Stop, rested a min, and then kept pushing. By the time we hit the last isle, tears were rolling down my checks, I was slumped, and I couldnt think my way out of a wet paper bag. I gathered as we headed to the check out and just kept saying "almost done! almost done" the cashier asked if I was ok, and I said "i have MS and I think the heat got me" then she told me a story about some aunt (I tuned out...sorry check out girl) and the bagger started on some friend of hers with lupus (sorry bag girl I tuned out) and FINALLY! got to the payment part, paid, and went out where DS had the car all cooled off and the trunk open, when some dumbo in a busted/rusted out piece of junk wants to start hassling me about parking in the handicap spot!

I unloaded on a perfect stranger. I let him have it! I was crying, and humped over and puked on his shoes. Then I said "the day YOU can handle MY disease for ONE hour of ONE day is the day you can cuss me out for parking here. till then STFU! now my son is rounding the car, and I said "just get in the car, take me home."

Have you ever lost it? I mean it was the trip to be remembered. my poor son had no clue what to do. btw, the man who cussed me out about the handicap spot almost sprinted back to his car, so clearly he was not the handicap person his tag was meant for. perhaps his mom or wife was in the store, but if he had compassion he would have been in there helping them, not just smoking cigarettes, and listening to the radio and cussing out strangers. HMPH!

you threw up on his shoes!?!?!?

COOL! Sorry that your stomach hurt and you had to vomit, but great timing!

I'm sure that <bad swear word> will remember that forever and will never again kvetch (complain) to someone about using the handicap spot just because he cant tell if they're truly handicapped.

Hope you felt better after throwing up and cooling down.

I just cannot believe how many mean and rude people there are in this world.

I'm really sorry you got sick......but if you had to you had great timing and perfect aim. Better his shoes than inside your car. I'm sure that man will think twice before giving anyone else a hard time about where they park!

I hope you fatten that boy up, Dej. That is just too painfully thin. My oldest son is 6 foot (probably a little more) and he weighs 215# but he works out an awful lot. He's not the least bit chubby, either, so I can only imagine how thin your son is right now. It won't take him long to put some meat on his bones.

I'm keeping him in my prayers and hope that he soon has the peaceful life he needs and deserves.

oh my Dej! I'm so sorry you had such a rough go at the grocery store
I can't imagine trying to get thru to the end... and yes, I do believe I have "lost it" before

On a more positive note, at least you got to on some $#%holes shoes!

Hope you feel better soon

The great thiing is I just had a spinach, kale, brcoccoli, sprout, apple shake before hand, so my upchuck was GREEN! it was slimy green! HA! try getting that out of your leather sneakers!

I rarely use the handicap spot, but it was blistering humid, I dont feel good, really hot, and i knew altho it was a bad idea to go, we NEED food! so, as I swung in there, were no spots in a good position, and yet 12 open handicap spots, so I took one, and said "you deserve a break. dont walk in the blistering heat and use all your energy on the walk. concentrate on getting food for your family, not the spot."

I have been feeding the boy banana strawberry ice cream shakes. Got a pre roasted chicken which I never do! they are fatty and full of whatever they feed those penned birds, but son needs food, and the whole chicken is gone! He is already looking better after just one day of me feeding him. We started slow, even tho he was like a half starved dog. I didnt want to overwhelm his system, so we had a chicken chowder last night that is easy to digest and full off vitamins and stuff. He ate 6 bowls! it was chucked full of zucchini, and carrots, and potatoes, and so on. Im glad he got nutrition and not just a mcsandwhich. Gave him a 4 egg omlet for breakfast with italian sausage and he scarfed it down. Poor thing. I was shocked when he took off his shirt so I could put it in the washer. no wonder he was hiding himself.

Anyway, I hope that parking lot guy thinks twice before confronting a woman on the edge.

At a girl Deb. Nothing like echtoplasma and a vision of the exorcist to scare the carp out of some schmuck.

See, stress reliever. don't recommend getting sick everyday but the ability to puke on command when someone acts like a butt...

You had a shake with broccoli in it? No wonder you got sick. Just sayin...

I'm not feeling so great today, so hearing the description of what was in your shake almost made me sympathy barf. (next time some rude schmuck gives me the hairy eyeball in a parking lot, I'll have to remember what was in your shake, and see if I can produce some shoe staining vomit myself)

Erin, I agree!!! Dej's shake sounds horrible! I like broccoli and spinach but there is no way I would drink that shake.

I like spinach. It's the broccoli that made my stomach turn. I probably like all the ingredients in that shake EXCEPT for the broccoli, but several of the ingredients need to be separate from the others and not whipped together into a shake.

Spinach, sprouts and apples are good together as a salad, if you add a good dressing and some croutons.

I'm kind of wondering if the rude guy ended up throwing up himself after he got puked on. (would serve him right)
