I too have leg pain and wonder exactly what it's all about. My legs hurt, mostly in the calf, ankle and foot area. They hurt mostly when I'm sitting or lying down. It doesn't bother me when I'm up and about...I don't get it. Is this my MS? My neuro thinks it's fibro but I've read about that and have no other symptoms. I do on occasion have some tingling or mild vibration feeling. But my legs ache..like a burning feeling. So Nemsmom, is this something of what you experience? Mine doesn't hurt when I move them...it feels better to move actually.

I have had burning, tingling pain in my legs for over a year now, that's why I take 200mg of Neuronitin at night. This pain is different and getting worse each day. The only thing I can think of to describe it is like a massive cramp.. the muscle just isn't tense. The busier I can keep my self the more I can tolerate it but the pain is definitely still there.

Nemsmom, just went to my neuro today and am starting the Neuronitin tonight. My pain has kept me from working. My dr gave me another month off to see how this new med works. Hopefully it won't make me loopy as others have said it has made them feel that way. I was just wondering if your weather out there makes you feel worse. I have a friend on the Washington coast and she said it's cool and damp...so I was just wondering.

Cool and damp usually doesn't bother me at all, I love the mild weather! It's the drastic changes that I can't handle. We have had a lot of back and forth of sunny to rainy back to sunny. Of course that's Oregon, you could have sun, then hail, then rain, then back to sun in just an hour or so.

I am going to have tell my my doctor that I can't do the Neurontin during the day time because I can't walk straight when I take it no mater what I do! I hope you do better on it!

I have had severe unrelenting pain for a couple of years now, recently they put me on Baclofen and it is wonderful. I can do things that I thought I would never do again, like ride an ATV. I can clean my house! Spasisity is very painful if left untreated. I have been on Nuerotin for a few years...it didn't help much, though. It only treats the sx of the pain, not the source of the pain for me. I wish you much luck, I know first hand how bad it can be and will fight like heck before I ever end up in that much pain again.
