I walk through the house feeling of the walls.....making sure they aren't hot to the touch. Good thing I live alone. Folks would think I'm crazy.

I once called the fire dept and it was just steam coming up from the ground after a rain..

I have experienced that from time to time, Punk. It's kind of annoying because our memory tells us something should taste one way and when we eat it, it takes funny. I never associated it with MS though.

You aren't alone Kitty. I do the same. Especially around the electrical outlets.

Doesn't help that my father and his mother both have anxiety related to an irrational fear of fire - and guess what? I inherited this! So for years I'd smell this burning (long, long before the MS was in the picture) and freak the heck out!

Now I know it's likely the MS, but depending on how bad it is, I may still do checking just to be sure.

I've noticed this the last few days! Either things have no taste, or they taste like I have just brushed me teeth with strong toothpaste.
Kinda like drinking orange juice after tooth brushing.....same kind of feeling.

Also last year I had this OVERWHELMING smell of peach in my mother-in-laws kitchen. No one else smelled it. Earlier in the house I had walked right through a "cloud" of mist or smoke then it disappeared. I had an over riding sense it was my deceased mother-in-law trying to communicate with me. It felt so strong that I started having a conversation with her photo!

Now I wonder if its all just the MS? No peachy smell from mom?
