Thanks for the pictures and the post. I see what you ended up with now. Your AFO is on the outside of your shoe. I know people who have their AFO's on the outside of their shoe. They are on the outside but are different than what you have.

Lots of AFO's are on the inside of the shoe. And there are so very many kinds. Here is a site that gives some examples.
