Default Hearing Loss With MS

I've slowly been losing the hearing in my left ear. Seems like most of my MS sx involve my left side.

I've noticed that my hearing is muffled in my left ear if I'm laying in bed watching TV and laying on my right side. If I turn so that my right ear is not covered I can hear much better and clearer. It's like there is a cover over my left ear.....but there's not.

My Dad (who I'm convinced had MS, too, although no official dx) had hearing loss in his left ear, too. The doctor told him it was nerve damage and hearing aids would not help. Wonder why they didn't investigate further to see why there was nerve damage?

Anybody else have hearing loss?
