Default Hi dejibo

No dear woman, you don't have to defend trying this. I think all of us just want you to be careful on the suppliments. I am taking them too like I said. but I am going with a board certified physiasist. She specialized in nutrition at a cellular level, and that is probably what this practioner you have met is trying to do. I sure do know how MS can be, as my cousin has it. We all have to try in our own ways to go forward with some hope. Sometimes, another person who takes us seriously and tries to help, can provide mental peace to where the body can heal, and or stabilize. It may not be main stream medicine, but hope is a gift in itself when we feel miserable. I wish you all the best dejibo, I care about you, and want you to be as happy and healthy as you can. None of us are having a good time with these medical conditions, thats for sure. Lets just hang out her on NT, and keep talking bringing us closer together as humans. We all need each other. ginnie

As a LDN user for 10 yrs now, and still have MS, I'm not going to scoff at anyones attempt at "feeling better". And that's what MS does for me...I feel better, healthier and feel as though the LDN is slowing down the speed of MS progression.

LDN is cheap. I don't know what I'd do though, if it cost $1000.00 per month instead of ldn's $15.00?? That's the thing that bothers me about the DMDs or any other expensive *iffy* therapy.

Just know when to "fold em" Dej..

I've got a question. With taking so many supplements at once how will you know what's working versus what's causing a problem or simply not working? Did she give you instructions or some sort of schedule to follow?

Great question! I asked the same thing. She spoke about the body being able to balance itself. Between 1 and 100 our bodies want and should be living at the level of 50. My adrenals are in the 20s so she gave me some adrenal support. My gut is a mess so several of the things she gave me are about my gut. (if she can just fix ONE thing, let it be my gut) probiotics, enzymes (my food isnt being broken down properly according to my stool sample) My thyroid is extremely low, so she gave me thyroid support. Some are Vit D, Vit K. Multivit and a bio chemical support with herbs and such in it. There is also a lymphatic support because we are going to be asking the body to flush this detox stuff out. As it is, I dont sweat unless I fall asleep. Then my body temp soars! She said that indicates to her that I am not flushing out the toxins I am just allowing them to recirculate.

I am headed off for my baseline blood test. Then I will start taking my suppliments. Wish me luck.

Got my blood tested this morning (wont know the results for a few days) and then off to breakfast. I took my fist full of pills with me, and by the time I was done I almost wasnt hungry anymore. lol. Thats a lot to eat at one sitting. Most of my stuff is taken in the AM. 3 of this one, 2 of that one, 1 of this one, 3 drops of this 10 drops of that.

Then the most expensive bottle by far I use 10 drops and then I went to sit it down, and a complete MS moment I missed the edge of the table and over it went! i lost about 1/4 of it before I could right it.

I got a bit of a tummy ache but I ate badly all day. its my birthday after all! I do notice that today I only had 3 visual migraines. I normally have 5 to 10 per day. Was it the over cast day? was it the meds? I dunno. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Hi Dejibo,

I only check in every now and then but I really look forward to following your experience. I wish you the best! I think you are going into this with the perfect mindset.

Many years ago, long before my MS diagnosis, I developed "allergies" to almost everything in my environment. I think then they called it Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. It was awful. I could barely leave my house and even the stuff in my apt. brought on terrible symptoms. I tried every holistic health treatment known to mankind I saw many doctors. Anyhow, one day I was reading my roommates' natural health magazine and discovered something called NAET. It's too long to explain but involves acupuncture needles, kinesiology (muscle testing), and later on some kind of biofeedback machine. It wound up costing me hundreds of dollars but it was a literal miracle and blew my mind away. It changed my life!! It got rid of the worst of the problem (every once in awhile it flares up just a tad) and I felt a million dollars better. I had an amazing practitioner who gave me my life back. Even now I still can't believe it--but it wasn't a quick fix.

Anyhow, at the time I didn't care if it was the placebo effect, or if it really worked, or who knows what. Some things just can't be explained. Everyone's body is so unique. What works for some doesn't necessarily work for others.

Good luck on your journey and I hope you find what you are looking for!

I'd be concerned about how well you will digest and metabolize all of those supplements. Years ago, I had "alternate doctors" or ND's give me whole boxes of supplements, but in every case I could not digest them well. I have since then found supplements I can digest and metabolize, by trial and error in some cases. And I believe these supplements are very important to me. But indeed I have to take them in the right order, things like magnesium at meals, calcium between meals, and so forth.

I know you are gastronimcally sensitisve as I am, Dejibo, so I expect trying all 20 at once time ( that is, in the same day) may not work well. But since I don't know what you have in that group, I wouldn't know what to suggest you start with from among them.
I too will be interested to hear more. And may it work for you!

I had already thought of that Mariel. Most of my stuff is liquid that gets dropped under my tongue, or rubbed on my skin. Then there are the capsules that open and the powder gets dropped into my food. there are only 4 things that are actual tablets. I was pleased as I cant hold a lot of food in my tummy and when I do it mis behaves. I start the whole thing with enzymes which help move things along, and pro biotics so I am flooding the place with good bacteria.

I was really upset to think I was going to have to swallow all those pills, and thrilled when I saw she turned them into drops.

im on day two. Have my oat meal in front of me, and I already took my enzymes and probiotics. now to dose my oatmeal and get ready for this day. one of my good friends is taking me to lunch! wahoo!

oh, yes, what happened last night. I normally dont sweat at all during the day, even if I am hot, I just turn red. I can get very hot at night and then sweat a bit. I woke several times last night pouring sweat! I was drenched, and not just my chest, it was my whole body! I turned on the AC and made the room frozen. Went back to sleep. Woke several times just drenched! I got up and laid a fluffy towel under me. I got up and showered up this morning and will have DH change the sheets and mattress pad. She warned me that may happen as I detox. I was easily able to fall back to sleep.

Took my capsules, broke them open and filled my oatmeal bowl. UGH! it was GREEN! Dark green! oh no, im not eating that! I did taste it, and it was funky! I gagged on it. I threw out the bowl and started over. I swallowed all the green ones, and broke open the white/tan ones into my bowl. I added the liquid stuff, and while the little kid in me could taste that adult in me said no way, there is no flavor change, just swallow!

Next time I will know, swallow the green ones! they really have no taste, but dang that was ugly!

only 3 visual migraines yesterday and I was able to watch a movie all the way thru without having to shut it off to wait for a migraine to pass.

I sweated some last night, but nothing like the night before. it was a naturally cooler night in the house.

Im on day three and my tummy is full of oatmeal and suppliments. 98% of them are morning pills and stuff, so once im done in the morning, im mostly done all day.

Cross your fingers for a better visual day.
