I was just thinking--we've been over this before, but it's been a while. Especially when you're newly diagnosed, or still looking for a diagnosis, it's pretty easy to chalk every new symptom up to MS. Of course, sometimes it IS MS.
Sometimes, however, it could be a big mistake to say, "Oh, another stupid MS symptom." NEVER just say, "Now stupid MS is giving me the worst headache of my life" or shortness of breath, or chest pain/discomfort, or a funny lump, or excrutiating pain in my leg, or weird vision stuff. Sure those things "could" be MS, but people with MS are also allowed to have strokes, heart attacks, cancer, DVTs, or detached retinas. Is it an odd little rash on your knee? Your pinky goes numb once in a while? Probably can wait until the next doctor's appointment. But anything that concerns you, or you know can also be a symptom of something emergent, PLEASE run it by your doctor to be sure!
