Sorry you're going through this hunt-for-a-disease process. I'm sorry I can't be much help with your question, I just wanted to comment on CIDP. I'd never seen that before so had to look it up. Wow ~ it is SO similar to MS!

My MS has been around, technically, for about 13 years (2000). But the earliest symptoms might have occurred as early as 1991 or 92. I consider my symptoms to have begun very suddenly in February of 2000, and extremely gradually lessened but have never gone away completely.

But that's me. "Other results may vary"!
