You should look at getting a baclofen pump. The pills were not working for me anymore. I got one almost seven years ago. It's amazing how much better it works.

I can't take baclofen, it doesn't work for me and I was up to the maximum dose and it only helped minimally. Adding diazepam didn't help with the spasticity at all.
I've been on generic Zanaflex (tizanidine) for 13 years. |

What's the worry about the balcofen pump? I've been thinking about getting hte IV steriods but not sure who to go to since I don't have a neuro now
|

Figuring out what to do if something went screwy with it on my own is my main concern. It can take a while to get in to see my neuro and even into the MS clinic; both of which are 90 minutes away. The local docs would probably just shrug and say "I donno" if somethig went wrong with it.
With the symptoms I've been having and what I've gone through with doctors, hospitals, surgeries and medications in the last few months, I just don't feel good about dealing with another round the same right now. I've just started to crawl out from under my rock in the last couple of weeks ![]() With love, Erika |
