This thread is slightly off-topic, but there is very little activity on the aneurysm forum and I have to share. Last week my seventeen year old daughter had a CT/CTA scan to make sure she didn't have an aneurysm like I did. My Neurologist told me that he thought I had this from birth, so it was an amazing relief to get a letter from him yesterday saying that there was no evidence of either lesion or aneurysm formation in her scans....Yay!!!!
The scan showed tissue as well as arterial formation - so at this point, no signs of MS either I know it is early days, and things can change, but looking back there was stuff going on for me for so many years before I even knew it. She is such a clever girl, and such a beautiful dancer, and dance teacher, it would have broken my heart! Still, like I said to her, better to know and to deal with it than to deal with the consequences.

What wonderful news, Lynn!
I've always said I'd rather my own condition worsen than either of my children to have to go through having it. I think this applies to any condition we might have.

Thanks guys
When I had my brain surgery to clip the aneurysm, my Neurosurgeon told me that it was only a matter of time before my kids had come home and found me dead on the floor. The thought of my kids walking around with a time bomb in their heads is way too scary. So yeah, such a relief.
