You can get a disability attorney that will work for a portion of your backpay if you win (correct me if I'm wrong anybody).

You will need to appeal, it can take time, especially since you are younger. If someone over fifty applies with something like MS it can be quicker.

Just keep trying until you get it, there are other young folks here who have been through the process and won eventually.
