i'm really sorry this happened to you. if it happened to me in a hospital's lot of all places i would make them pay for any care i needed.

i hope you're recovering.

I'm actually coming around quite well...much better than I thought I'd be. I just need to be cautious about how I sit down and get up to avoid bumping the area or getting a spastic reminder from the butt muscles. Tomorrow I'll have some acupuncture to help things along.
In the mean time, Epsom salt baths, stretching and self massage are helping. I've also been rubbing Diclofenac on it and moving around so it doesn't get too stiff.

I really think that slipping like I did was more my fault because ice is every where up here now. Pretty hard to keep it under control with night temp going below freezing and then going above it by late morning.
Should have been more careful.

Our medical costs are paid for so long as we pay our premiums ($ 0-750/year, depending on income), so it didn't cost me anything but the embarrassment.
