I'm glad things went well for you and hopefully you will have the results before the end of tomorrow. Please keep us posted on your results and how you are doing.

Well results are in, small spot right front. Dr said that white matter unusual for my age recommending neuro specialist and exam of spinal fluid. Dr. mention report mentions several times regarding that since it didn't involve contract can't be determined or something. Got the news at 5pm and I really couldn't think clearly to ask questions. I think I was a little shocked, cause even during the times I had trouble seeing or walking, I kept telling myself there are a million other reasons for this or it was all in my mind. Even as she was saying the results, I was rationalizing it as a mistake or something.
I really don't know what to think right now. I don't know how what to hope for...what is better for the "spot" to be? a tumor? MS? how about a fly on the scan, lol. Dr. said something about narrowing at the base of head/spine or something, I don't really remember. She said could be the cause of tingling in my arm. Not sure if she was saying like I need to see a chiropractor or does "narrowing" mean something self? I don't know! I don't know anything about any of this. world seems like it is spinning around me right now. ![]() Quote:

Have you seen a neurologist? That should give you more answers than people on a message board can. I'd ask the doctor for a printed report if possible so you could show that to a neuro.

Follow his recommendation as to further testing. The MRI is only a first step. Although I do have MS, the numerous white spots throughout my brain have had NO effect on me in 20 years. No memory loss. No eye problems. No speech or swallowing problems. The lesions that affect me have all been on my C-spine and T-spine. We'll be thinking of you. MsBluIs |

The drooping eye with your presentation of migraine makes me think of possible atypical migraine. With only one lesion it may be inconclusive for MS. Remember the newscaster a few years back who had one-sided facial droop and slurring her words on the air? No stroke, no MS, but atypical migraine.
A good neurologists should be looking at different possibilities.
