Dumb question here, but what if you just use olive oil in your diet? I have been for several years and it seems to have a benefit.

Red face

There is a good article on Google from 2010
That claims the active Oleuropein extract is
In immature fruit and the leaves of the
Olive tree. The Oleuropein is lost with processing
Of the olives, for the most part.

If you Google " science direct 2010 olive
Leaf extract" you'll find that detailed paper.
From what I've gathered OLE is rather new
Because of the processes to extract it
Are new. But it has been used in a more crude
Form for hundreds of years in the Middle East and
Other countries that grow olives commonly.

I am sorry I can' figure out how to link sites
With the iPhone. I am on vacation with only
It on 4G. (Most pages don't show the address
Bar )

There are6% and 20% concentrated extracts
Now. I recommend using the 6% one sparingly
until you see how much you Herx from it.
I seem to have a huge load of infection
Compared to my son and so consequently
The die off is uncomfortable for me. I suspect my culprit
Is mostly Candida with some viral mixed in.

I found this when I googled what you wrote Mrs. D. I'll try to find more later on.

The links I supplied in my first post are very informative. MrsD gave them to me so I knew they would be complete! They give good information on OLE and the Herx reaction some people get at the beginning of the treatment. I'm over my Herx reaction for the most part but there are still days when I get a little achy.....but that really could be from just about anything.
