Wisest Elder Ever
|
So my neuro finally prescribed something for my RLS. Mirapex (it's the generic and I cannot remember the name).
I take a .5 mg tablet about an hour before bed. He said the Baclofen is not made to help RLS. I took my first one yesterday evening. I took it about 2 hours before bed because if I was going to have an adverse reaction to it I wanted to at least be up. ![]() It worked for the RLS but it made me weak and wobbly. Much more so than the Baclofen does. My legs felt like they weighed 200# each and it was hard to lift them. So I shuffled around. Does anyone else here take meds for RLS? Do you have similar side effects? I'm wondering if the side effects gets less the longer I take it. I'm feeling better now 12 hours later. I'll take it again because not having to deal with restless legs is wonderful.
