Question RLS and Mirapex

So my neuro finally prescribed something for my RLS. Mirapex (it's the generic and I cannot remember the name).

I take a .5 mg tablet about an hour before bed. He said the Baclofen is not made to help RLS.

I took my first one yesterday evening. I took it about 2 hours before bed because if I was going to have an adverse reaction to it I wanted to at least be up.

It worked for the RLS but it made me weak and wobbly. Much more so than the Baclofen does.

My legs felt like they weighed 200# each and it was hard to lift them. So I shuffled around.

Does anyone else here take meds for RLS? Do you have similar side effects?

I'm wondering if the side effects gets less the longer I take it. I'm feeling better now 12 hours later. I'll take it again because not having to deal with restless legs is wonderful.
