OMG starz,

that all sounds awful. were you in a car accident?
i remember when i went to my ortho doc who was going to do my back surg.
he started me on PT and i wasn't tolerating it well. so, kind of got labelled that i wasn't trying hard enuf.

when i went to the neurosurgeon, he said he wouldn't have tried PT til AFTER the back surg. that's why i couldn't do it. and sure enuf. after the surg i rather breezed thru my PT. everyone was surprised, including my dr and PT's and friends. and, me.

you could make a bucket list and prioritize the "repairs". then just take one thing at a time. i hope your dr can help.

Didn't get a chance to call the neuro this week, raining and pouring in the figurative sense, all this week. For whatever reason everything just seems to have "blown up" between the hours of 8:00-5:00. Even tomorrow I'm stuck, hoping I can squeeze a phone call in.

Sheesh... I really...desperately...NEED a hug-me-jacket right about now. Especially with the body being so uncooperative. And my normally understanding family members all seem to have taken the same crazy pills this week, pills that make them look at me like I am Wonder Woman! Honestly fully healthy this week would have sent me to an early grave let alone the state I'm currently in.

Normally I wouldn't spoil them so much either, but I did end up putting down my parent's dog (well me and my mother did) so got guilted into spoiling my dad a bit (lots), and my mom as well (though just a bit) but still dealing with my DH and his 2 broken legs... (Looking for a gun...)

My leg is exhausted, heck I am exhausted, and tomorrow I'm going puppy 'shopping' aka pound diving with the folks to help pick out their new baby and please dear lord help me find a nice long living thing that will last until my father dies or has dementia bad enough that we can swap out the pups, which would be ever so much easier if my mom would go for a purebred, I mean good luck finding body doubling mutts.

I'm ready to pick a battle with a bullet train. But this week shall pass, next week CAN'T be any worse. Any maybe, just maybe the neuro will be nice and have me committed! I'm ready to take the happy pill and twiddle my knees and toes and I'll be so happy to see those nice young men in their bright white coats so come and take me away ha ha!

Sorry slight mental break but at least for this week, with all the craziness, my battle has currently been set to fight to the last dying breath. It's just catching up to me far quicker than even I could have imagined and I could very well be rattling even more malfunctions off to the neuro by Monday morning.
