It is a possibility... Difficult to say however, I would probably follow up with the PCP, if it's TMJ he might be able to feel the inflammation and any catching in the joint. But the other possibility is a fragment from the jaw break is infringing on the nerves to the inner ear. In any event the PCP should be able to steer you in the right direction for getting help with it.

Just be sure to explain that you've had the jaw broken, list of symptoms and that your symptoms have otherwise been cleared neurologically. It could also still be from a little thing like tight hamstrings, to TMJ or any other number of things.

Believe me I know how hard it is to be patient yet demanding, calm yet freaking out when the body just won't listen. And even more so when the doctors just seem to pat you on the head and send you on your way when you just want to scream at them "there's something seriously wrong here! And I'm not just being a little crybaby! I didn't get a 'whittle boo-boo!' It's a big freakin boo-boo, don't you have eyes in your head?!?" Oops sorry my inner voice came out there just a bit. But is often how I have felt and still occasionally feel when dealing with doctors. I swear all them have an inner sadist and bully complex.

But still we must endure. and allow them to weed out the possibilities until they finally strike upon what we often think of as being the glaringly obvious. Every so often though we do get surprised, and they think of something we wouldn't have and it fixes us, so I guess we can't fire them all just yet and replace them with Chinese imported drugs and microscopes .
