Let's see what has Taffy been up to....

Had a neuro appt. He agreed that I have been having a relapse since March. That's why both thighs feel like I have bee stings in them and someone using a cow prod on one!
(A cow prod is an electric zapper you use on cows to make them move.)

He wanted to know why I didn't come in March. "Uh...... I booked a trip to Hawaii and went there instead?" He looked at me like I am an idiot (I am) and said...Did you have a good time? I looked at him like he was an idiot and said..."Uh....Dude...it was Hawaii!"

He saw the spots on my thighs...wow, he said, you have some big bruises on your legs. "Those are not bruises. THOSE are the lovely side-effects from REBIF." Uh...sorry.

Then I am out minding my own business, walking across a rocky parking lot, when out of the blue the ground decides to jump up to my face. Thats right, one minute I see buildings and trees and the next, rocks and dirt. Oh man! So DH helps me up (it was his dumb idea to walk on the walk...blame him...blame him!) and of course you look around to see if anyone has seen you! Nope! Body check...No blood or broken bones...just gonna be bruises..could feel one on my hand and knee coming right then

Right now my ribs are killing me.

Did I learn anything?

I am an Idiot! Walk slower...choose a better route..take the offer arm......
but I am not changing my decision about Dr. vrs. Hawaii.

May I have chcocolate now please? I could really use a hit!

First, my condolences upon the death of your cane. That's the only thing I can come up with for the reason why you have taken a fall. Or did you just forget it! Duh Dude...brain fart? Glad you are ok....would hate to lose you.

I like the Hawaii vs Doctor idea. I think I've done that a time or two. Geez, you'd think they'd understand. Afterall, I think they go on vacation in lieu of seeing patients! LOL!

So, guess what I did today? I worked all day. Wanna know what else I did? I found a white shirt to go with my BEA-U-TI-FUL Tartan Red Pendelton Blazer that AMN forced me to buy to wear on Monday to the FDA conference. Yep, I did. I found one. And it was on sale too.

I am off to bed. Gotta get up at Oh-dark-thirty to catch my flight to DC. Check in with y'all later tomorrow! Don't have too much fun while I'm away.

Oh and Taffy, I am taking my laptop with me! Just thought I'd let you know!

I left out an important part of my story I see. My good foot/leg tripped on some junk pipe that was sticking out of the ground.

Totally innocent...I swear...

Anyways...you got the jacket...you got the shirt...you got your 3 oz. items in your ziploc baggie and your got your laptop!

Geez, Taff, that was your opening to become independently wealthy! A pipe sticking out of the ground smacks of lawsuit in this country where frivolous litigation is a national pastime. I'm disappointed in you!

Flygirl, you do know that the jacket alone will command respect and the full attention of your admiring audience. Power-wear has its own brand of panache and it will deliver for you in fine style. Just skip that latte on the way to the hearing, no point in taking foolish risks!

Yes, she will get everyone attention if she wears the jacket alone! But I hope she wears a shirt underneath! lol

We have arrived in DC! Mary and I are here. We have had dinner, dessert, and are putting the finishing touches on my presentation for tomorrow. Red jacket is hanging in the closet, white shirt is ironed, and black slacks are hung up as well. Shoes shined and all ready to go!

No need to get sarcastic, Sal! Geez! My computer is fine, my server messed up and I quit it. I can't even get email there anymore. I just changed it in my profile to my dumpsite email, so I can at least be somewhat available.

I've been commuting to Wi-Fi hotspots but have a limited battery life so an hour or two is all it can handle with surfing. As soon as Earthlink "releases" my phone line, I'll switch. They have some exclusivity agreement with the phone company to give them a few days' cushion time to try and talk me out of it. Good bloody luck, I'm sick of talking at deaf people in foreign countries.

Yes, I'm a little bitter after 12 years of loyalty and advocacy for them. I'd like to tell them where to go but I'm not sure that Jabawhannie is trained in English expletives.

Taffy want to share lawyers (your pipe) and last week in wheelchair
dumb guy with big cart hits me,and knocks me around 3 times,he
stopped long enough to say OH didn't see you there. I'm almost
positive i have wheelchair lash. Maybe we could all go to Hawaii
together. hmmm it's a thought. I hope i can move my arm and leg soon.
