Can you look into Assisted Living?

My Dad lived in Assisted Living for about a year. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Sally, for some reason I can absolutely see you with a pole in your bedroom.

Actually, I think that shorter one may be more practical and easier to use?

I have to wait till Monday to talk to my home care OT, to see what options may be good for my situation. We can't be sick on weekends ya know.

Oooo, I love this sofa! I hope you enjoy it. La-Z-Boy makes good furniture. I have a small couch (love seat) in my bedroom I got from them probably 13 years ago and it's still comfortable. Have you looked into getting a lift chair? The seat rises up to help you get out of it. My Dad had one and it was a Godsend because he needed that extra help to stand up.

A lift chair is not for me, Kelly. I tried one and slid to the floor twice!!! I have to feel my feet firmly on the floor, before I can stand. MS standing up is different than normal people standing, I guess.

Taking a break on all the home care crap today. No one from there has called anyway, so maybe they are taking a break too.

I can't wait till my LB sofa gets here on Thursday. Sure hope it's a winner for me. I could use a break in the Murphy Law here.

Hope none of you are in the firestorm area. I hear the smoke is thick all over the area. Hard to breath out there.

Take care of yourselves.
