Sorry I missed your question earlier, but glad things are working out for you. My doctor put me on Cymbalta a few months ago. First time taking something like it. But other than being high (seriously chill and with the munchies, DH can't even argue with me, or rather I can't argue with him ) It works fine. Eases the pain a lot, or just makes me not care about it, not sure which. And even as a secondary effect I can ride comfortably once more in cars, I'm not trying to jump out every time we pass a stop sign, or approach a traffic light.

I was already a pretty happy pessimistic optimist before taking it, and I still am. Just find the silly things married people argue over silly enough to laugh about rather than fight about unlike before. That's about the only 'personality change' that's come about from taking it. I have zero for a temper... very strange as a previously hot-headed Irish-American redhead. And my blood pressure dropped a few points, it was never that high to begin with short of the midst of excruiating pain, but it's down to 100/60, vs 110/70.

Kelly, the assisted living here is not doable if you are not able to get anywhere unassisted.

Meeting with in home 24/7 care is tomorrow at 2pm here at rehab, will let you know what is decided.

Thanks Starz

Good luck Sally! You just might find the perfect caregiver and make a new friend, too!

Great attitude, Kitty! Sally deserves the best. The caregiver is going to meet a remarkable person, too.

Just got home today. Caregiver is nice and not at all pushy. My new sofa is perfect. I love it. We've made a few safety changes and I am transferring great.

DD and Friends cleaned my house for me and it's wonderful and fresh.

Haven't had time to read all of your entries yet but hoping you all are well and happy.

Glad you're back home, Sally...the New Normal will be like old times soon. It's so much better to be at home, even with adjustments to be made...
