Good Morning!

Hi Judy! I hope you are feeling better soon. Seems like so many friends here are having yucky days.... You have had a lot to deal with, and that in itself, is tiring and stressful. Hopefully the labwork on Fri will show that you are coming out of this... I will cross my fingers for ya.

It is soooo scary when someone so young passes away. My Mom started out w/just a backache too.

She passed away 6 wks later... But, I guess we (or she for that matter) had no control over it... My life is so sad w/o her, but she was called home and I'm just glad she isn't suffering anymore. Her quick illness has shown me that I have so much to live for, even when I have poopy days.....

I am sending healing thoughts your way Judy and hope that today is a better day.... You hang in there.... We care about you...

Hi, everyone. It's an ideal morning here, 68°, sunny, breezy. I'll take this every day.

Doyd, how excellent that you're cool again. What a nightmare that has to be, and there is only this little band of us who really understand how hard it is on our bods. I feel relieved just knowing you got some relief.

Judy, I'm glad you found this thread, it's really just for the sake of talking to each other about anything at all. I'm so sorry to learn about your friend's death. That's the kind of stuff that makes life so confusing to me.

Sal, I'm working through something that I need to face. It's as simple as that. I'll take my trip and I'll go all out to make it great, don't you fret about that.

DM, yer a dingbat.

FG, keep on resting, you need it.

Hi Judy. I know the feeling all too well. Just about every other day I wonder what the rest of my life is all about. Why am I still here and what is my purpose?????

When I see my Kids and Grandkids every weekend, I'm reminded why.....they need me to be here...they need my love...they need me to worry about them and they need to worry about me. My DD, especially, needs my love and strength. She needs to know I'm here rootin for her.

So when I get a bit down and I don't feel well or I hurt, I think of them and it helps me focus on what's important. I've had a great life and I'm still living it as well as I wish. The AD helps...Paxil was better, but Prozac will do for now.

I haven't talked to my Brother in a couple of weeks. I'm ashamed of myself for that, but It hurts and I cry for hours after talking to him. The conversations are great, but when we are finished, I always wonder will it be the last time we are able to talk. I am such a wuss and so selfish. Just smack me silly..I need it.

Cindy, I understand and am here for you, anytime. You go Girl!!

DM, I still pick up the phone to call my Mommy and she has been gone since 1993.....that's how much I still miss her. Hugs of understanding for you..

I'll end with something my Mom used to say to me..."I'm alright, you're alright...it's the rest of the world I worry about".

Thanks everyone. I just got up and got some coffee and thought I'd check in. Heachache is still here. I think I will call my doc. It's not like the one I had before, but it's bad enough.

I just want this over and I want to be ME again...geez...is that too much to ask?

All kidding aside, the heat is just awful everywhere. My Son tells me that we are lucky that we aren't in Iraq!!!! I guess it's a bit too hot there too.

Anywy, stay as cool as you can, Taffy.

Hi! We have had a few days of great weather too, but they (who's they???) are saying 90's again by Sun or Mon.... Bleah!!!!

FG??? If your'e not YOU, then who are YOU???? Did someone steal our FG???

AMN???? Whassup w/you?? I will get to the bottom of this, if it's the LAST thing YOU do!!! ha...

I cleaned out the front bedroom today, trying to keep busy. Don't ever pull everything out of closets, drawers, from under beds etc all at one time.... Boy, was that a dumb move on my part....

It took the better part of the day for me to sort thru it all....I'd kick my own bu++ if it was physically possible....

Thanks so much everyone for your hugs and understanding! It's really a good way of relieving some stress coming here where everyone gets it! Along with some good laughs!!!! I love all the emoticons, still haven't figured out how to do them with this old web tv!

DM -- I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom leaving you so young. No matter when it happens, we all miss our Mom's terribly. Mine died way back in 1969 of cancer, she was 56.

Sally -- Your reminder of our kids and grandkids helped alot. I don't get to see them too often, but I know they're "there". With email and of course the phone, we do keep in touch and I know they really do care. Maybe it has something to do with our age -- I believe we're in the same "decade" Still don't know how that happened!!!! But -- getting to this point in our lives when we're supposed to be able to relax and enjoy our "golden years" (bah humbug) then have to deal with this instead? It just isn't right! But God is in control, just wish I knew His reasoning!!!

Thanks again all for being here!!!!
