Hello everyone.....It is my last night here at the Hampton. It has been a wonderful few days. All that I have done is RELAX. NO dishes, no laundry, no housecleaning, NO WORK....I should have been born rich because I could live like this everyday!!! Eventually I would have to let the cleaners in. I thought it would be a nice break for them to NOT have to clean this room everyday. Tomorrow we head back up North. I could stay so easily. I did have a chance to think about my job and my horrible boss. I am going to quit working there. I cannot say exactly the day but it will be soon. I have been so relaxed and stress free here. No boss calling me names and yelling and blaming me for things that he has did wrong. I do no let anyone else talk to me like that so why should he??? the next time he is rude to me(and he will be) I am going to say "PARDON ME"...."WERE YOU SPEAKING TO ME"? i WILL THEN REMIND HIM THAT HE MAY NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT. I work for minimum wage and can get a job anywhere...many new stores will be opening within 5 min's walking distance from my home. I am a great worker and I am very much a people person. My customers at work and I get along so well, they are such lovely people! I think I will miss them terribly....but....who knows where I will pop up next! Have a super day!!!

Hey there Dorrie -- Sounds like you've had a great peaceful, relaxing time. Don't you just hate it when reality pokes its nose back in? As far as your job goes -- YOU GO GIRL!!! Hope all goes well for you!

You'll be great, Dorrie! If it were me, I'd walk away from that lousy, no-good piece of last year's dog droppings with my head held high. The only reason for quitting I'd give is him. No explanation, just him.

Way to go! I had a boss like that. It got to where I couldn't eat or sleep, and I was a nervous mess. The day I walked in and quit, it was like walking out of a dark room into the sunshine.
