guess I don't pay much attention to those kinds of people when we camp! We park the trailer, and usually head out of the campground not sticking around much! It's a place to park the trailer!

and I will not shaddup!

You shaddup...:p

Sal?

That is one HOT man. Good thing AMN says she would be staying out of his way. Save me from tripping over her whilst I was following him...LOL

Below is his Iraqi disguise picture..:p :p He is a very handsome man under all that hair. This is how he came back to me yesterday. He will be shaving it off, but is wearing it for the shock value, now..The scamp.

My little boy is 44 yrs old now but is still 17 in his heart and mind....just like his Father..LOL.

Sally

I am so glad that your son made it back from the sandbox ok. I bet you are very relieved that he is home. Nice shades!

As the spouse of a retired Naval Aviator, I remember those homecomings well. Thank your son for me! He has a tough job. ;)

How are you doing?

AfterMyNap 08-01-2007 08:09 PM

Wow, hi you guys! I'm whipped, but in the best of ways. An old friend and I made our annual trek to the lakeshore today and she hauled me all the way into the water with one of those jumbo sand wheelchairs. IT WAS AWESOME! I miss the lake somthing awful and getting in again really made my day. Not a big waves day, but I did walk the half-mile stretch and back in pit-deep water.

The joint was jumpin', we totally forgot that this week is the national CoastGuard festival and there were waaaaaaay too many people out there. It was so, so great, I stayed in for 90 minutes and I got seriously pruny!:Head-Spin: :Excited: :Head-Spin: :Excited:

Oh, and I got my new AFO yesterday and it totally rocks! I don't care about what it looks like, I can walk waaaaay better with far less fatigue!

AMN
I am so happy for you, sounds like a wonderful day all around. I grew up on Lake Erie and miss the water, there isn't enough out here. I'm sure you'll sleep like a baby, all that fresh air and sunshine, so good for the soul.

Taffy 08-02-2007 11:08 AM

Who is that man with the hat? Is he the camp host? Can I be a camp host? Sally, he rocks! Can we keep him?

So, we are not camping? :Noooo: No smores?:Bawling:

Okay............Do we still get icecream?:icecream:

I went to the beach!

It was nice in the little fishing town, but the beach was like 64 degrees!

Talk about wind...my hair is one big tangle..ouch!

Oh...every store had my name outside in big letters..TAFFY

Inside they had these huge drink containers with my name on them. How did they know I was coming? They told me to take one and fill it full of candy.:D
How sweet! But then I had to buy the candy.:( Oh well! It tastes good, even if it isn't chocolate!

Here Taffy, I made low fat brownies and they are so moist and yummy. I wouldn't put in your huge cup though. Anyone else need a choco fix today?

SallyC 08-02-2007 12:06 PM

Cindy, I'm so happy that you made it to the Lakeshore and actually into the lake. How refreshing, how wonderful..I'm so jealous.

Yes, I'm ready for some chocolate now, if anyone is listening, lowfat is even mo betta..thanks.

Today is "do notta day" and I will do my best to fulfill it.:D
