HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL OF MY YANKEE FRIENDS!!!

I had to laugh yesterday. I went to one of the neighbourhood fruit and vegetable stands, and the owners asked me if they had a "July 4th" in England. I said, "sure, tomorrow is July 4th all over the world I believe".

We had fun this morning. They have something here called the Peachtree Road Race. It was a 5K race early in the morning and it ended up in one of the larger parks in midtown Atlanta. Michael ran with a co-worker of his, and I went down with his wife. There were tons of folks, and it took us almost an hour to meet up after they were finished with the run. Great people watching! We're off to a block party(in the neighbourhood where we are leasing) this evening. There are going to be fireworks down the street from the new home we're building, so I think we'll drive over there with some of our neighbours here and their children to watch after dinner.

Enjoy the holiday everyone. Be safe, and have fun.
