Cindy: I like that idea of your drive-in church. One of them around here used to do that in the summer, but I don't think they do anymore. It's perfect for the handicapped and elderly -- plus you don't have to worry about "keeping up with the Jones'" with what clothes you wear.
doydie: I'm really happy for you that you got to your grandbabies' dedication. There will probably come a time down the road (personal experience) when it won't be possible, so do all you can to enjoy now! Like you, I'm used to the old fashioned gospel church. Actually I played the piano and/or organ and directed the choir for years -- but my youngest in Ohio attends one of the mega churches with a praise band, worship team, etc., and loves it. If it wasn't for that style, I'm sure she, and others, wouldn't be attending at all. To each his own! It's great you and your hubby worked out the compromise -- and you even got a dinner out of the bargain! Take care!!

I am so glad you were able to go to your G'baby's ceremony, Doydie. It seems that we miss so many other things; it was nice to hear that you won this one. Plus, a dinner out w/hubby.
![]() My church is small, but the hearts in it are HUGE. It doesn't matter what denomination you are; it's what's in your heart that counts.... Way to go, Doydie!!!!
