I am officially exhausted. I was OK after our mini Christmas on the 25th. But I knew the big one was coming on the 29th. I have never had 30 people in my house. I know some of you people have and you are used to it. We live in a bilevel and pretty much half of the lower level is family room. We have a ping pong table down there so we scooted that it a corner, put all the food on it and then put three big tables up. My family room furniture was still there, well rocking chair and recliner went into the laundry room temporarily. And the Christmas tree was up with 10 families worth of gifts around it. So it was a little crowded.

I was so proud of the younger wives, except my oldest daughter. She thinks her job is to take care of her children. But the other ones just took over in my kitchen and did the entire meal. After we're done eating, all the husbands clean up, load the dishwasher. We use disposable everything now for eating. I'm sorry Grandma, your china is in the china cabinet and looks beautiful! All the married women fill the stockings and then the fun starts.

I was tired before we started eating, exhausted after eating and numb when it was stocking stuffing time. I just sat on the floor and couldn't hardly move. And I was a crab. It was my house and I was a grab. My 83 year old mother offered to sit on the floor so I could have her chair. All I could do was fill my husbands stocking which was easy cause he requested only 15 pieces of candy and some peanuts! Everyone did a good job of cleaning up before they left but we still need to vacuum and put the house together. And I'm still looking for where everyone put things in my kitchen!! But it was fun. My son in law goes off to Iraq in 3 days and his family was with us.

My husband got one of those helicopters and we have all enjoyed it. including the cat. She had to be quarateened off in my bedroom the whole weekend because she causes a literal hissy fit when we have any company. So she has to sleep in there to. So when I let her out we have this helicopter flying all over the place. I got my husband a GPS and I am enjoying it. I got a digital picture frame and haven't done anything with it yet.
