No.

It's feeling not right again, I so don't want to go camp at the doc's tomorrow.:(

AMN, I go through this often. It's frustrating and I feel for you. Hopefully you can get some studies (urodynamics, ultrasounds, etc.) done to find out what is going on. So that it can be taken care of soon.

OUCH! lol

Know the feeling. I had to camp out today and it was not fun.

Speaking of camp - maybe you could put your hand (wrist) in the warm water. You know like we did to kids in camp. LOL.

[QUOTE=mbsews;193823]DSD or detrusor sphincter dyssynergia is a common urinary symptom in MS and was one of my earliest symptoms. It means there is a lack of communication and coordination between the muscle that is suppose to relax to let urine out (urinary shincter) and the muscle that is supposed to contract to empty the bladder (detrusor). Zanaflex did help me but there are some others that work too...like Flomax. ;) Sometimes it requires self-cathing though...............................QUOTE]

I've been there too. I couldn't pee for weeks unless I pushed hard and pressed on my bladder, then I got into self cathing and tra-la, easy peasy! After about 5 months of cathing, I'm only using them very occassionally now...like once a week or once a fortnight, instead of every toilet trip.

I'm glad your's is settling down AMN, and I too hope it's just a little glitch for you.

Tell me something, you cathing ones, do your fingers work right, or are they like mine, numb & dumb (can't quite hold a pen or cup, etc.)?

Riverwild 01-23-2008 07:18 PM

Cin,

I hate to do this cause it's such a serious subject and I am in NO WAY making fun...

but I woke up today and the first thing that came into my mind when I sat down for daily meditation in the meditation room was Marshall Tucker Band's song...Do you remember "Can't You See, oh can't you see..what that woman's been doing to me"

When I was much younger and sillier, I used to sing it as ....

"Can't you peeeee? Oh can't you pee..."

( end of OT silliness!):winky:

No my fingers aren't numb, but my co-ordination's out of whack. You should see me trying to get my aim right.......no, on second thoughts, I don't think we'll go there. :winky:

Please listen to what Chris said, get checked out. I'm sure you know UTI's aren't fun at all.
